The Best Time to Visit Disneyland

Due to such high demand, Disneyland is often packed with visitors. The number of guests in the park will ultimately determine how much you can do while there. If you have a choice, opt for a day with fewer people so that you can see more shows, ride more rides and wait less in lines.

Normally, you will encounter less people and shorter lines at Disneyland on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. As you may have noted, most people head to the park over the weekend. You should plan to visit in the middle of the week if you want to get the most bang for your buck.

Of course, some of the best shows occur on weekends. If entertainment is a priority, you will jsut have to face the crowds. One way to minimize waiting time and maximize your experience on the rides and in the shows is to stay for an extended period of time.

If you plan to be around for a week or more, use the middle of the week to take advantage of the short lines at the rides and focus on the shows and attractions on the weekend. Doing this, you’re certain to enjoy your Disneyland vacation much more.

Caring for Baby at Disneyland’s Baby Center

Yes, there is something for your baby at Disneyland. If you have been considering a family vacation to this land of imagination but were concerned about your tiny tot, be assured that Disneyland has thought of even the smallest member of the family.

The Disneyland Baby Center is located on Main Street, behind the Plaza Inn. You won’t find a baby sitter there. What you will find is a place to attend to all your babies needs.

Several Disney characters are stationed at the Baby Center to assist you in caring for your child. They will gladly amuse baby will you attend to him. Rockers are available so you can rock and breast feed your baby. No men are allowed in this room, but they are allowed in other rooms within the Baby Center. You can warm a bottle or a jar of food, and clean bottles as necessary. Baby changing tables are available, and the entire center is very clean and comfortable. There are even smaller toilets for children who are being potty trained.

You can also purchase emergency baby supplies at the Baby Center. Diapers cost about a dollar each, and several different types of formula and baby food are kept in supply, although the selections are limited. This is Disneyland’s way of making sure that the needs of every guest, no matter how small they may be, are attended to.
